First off, I was weary about this chair because a lot of the 5 star reviews were customers receiving a free product and giving 5 stars.
I can assure you I did not receive this chair for free 😂
5/5 so far after assembling, and that assembly only took about 20min. I have been 0/2 ordering Chairs off amazon. I refuse to pay $400+ for a gaming chair. I believe I have found “the one” with this purchase. For $129.99, it is a great value. I was specifically looking for a chair with the recline and rocking action, with no cheap footrest attached to the bottom. I was also looking for this shape of a lumbar pillow as well, instead of the “block” you see on many other chairs in this price category. I am 6’3 200lbs and the chair is a perfect fit. The pillow and ergo pillow flow together with the chair. The description says 6’5 max, and I would stick to that. Too much taller and the pillow for your head will be on your neck if you are sitting completely upright in the chair (if you care about that feature). The chair itself (without pillow), could fit 6’6-6’7 person
The chair is comfortable, I have been sitting in it for a couple hours now. I was uncertain on the arm rests…but I like them! I find myself using the “pointing in” feature a lot holding a controller or my phone. The move up and down, forward and back, and can tilt in.
The chair also arrived in prestige condition inside the protected packaging.
I see somebody in another review complained about the “armrests not being long enough, especially when reclining”. I think they are fine. I can still sit comfortably with my forearms on the arms rests when reclined a pretty good ways watching
Overall, I’d highly recommend for the price range.
I use this chair in our shop, I do like this chair overall, but it has a few issues. Starting with the positives: it looks wonderful and stylish, the reclining feature is sturdy and supports my weight well, the instructions were easy to follow, and it cleans easily too.
On the downside, the side arms can move left and right, which is a neat feature, but they don’t lock in place, so when I lean on them, they shift positions. The wheels also don’t roll smoothly on my hardwood floors; they only move properly when the chair is on the small carpet in front of my desk. If I want to roll over to my other computer station, I have to pick the chair up. I also wish it were a bit more adjustable. While the quality is good, I expected it to be slightly better for the price.
I originally got this chair for my desk, but at 5’4”, it’s not ergonomic for my frame. The lumbar and head pillows are comfortable and high quality, but even with adjustments, the seat feels too deep and my feet don’t reach the floor. The armrests move in six directions, but they don’t come close enough to the seat for shorter arms to rest naturally.
However, it fits my 6’2” son well and probably my 5’9” husband best. The build quality is solid. I like the faux leather and suede mix, and it came with extra hardware and what appears to be responsive customer support. The headrest strap is a bit short, hard to get around top of chair and won’t slide down far enough. Stable- holds my 240# son fully reclined. And I like the rocking/swaying feature.
Overall, it’s a sturdy, stylish chair with good adjustability, but the size range seems better suited for medium to tall users (as noted in the product’s height/weight chart). The price feels a little high. I feel like you could find a similar chair with more features for the same price.
