I enjoy MOOMARTO’s products, and their 2-in-1 Blush & Highlighter Palette lived up to expectations. I chose the Sunkissed Glow palette and prefer the matte blush over the shimmer one. I find that my mature skin looks more polished with matte shades, even as a highlighter. I do, however, lightly dust the shimmer shade when I go out clubbing with friends. The compact features a mirror, making it easy to carry in my handbag for quick touch-ups. Would I recommend it? Absolutely. Is it worth the price? For sure.
I don't usually use much makeup, but I'm learning. I have never tried a product like this, so I was interested to try it.
This contour/highlighter palette comes in a nice compact with a mirror (no brush is included–I used my own). It goes on smoothly with no noticeable fallout but is a little tough to blend. I found the contour quite dark for my fair skin but it still looks good. I feel like the highlighter went on easier. It adds a touch of depth and sophistication to my usual look. I probably wouldn't wear this every day, maybe a tiny bit of highlighter, but it would be great for going out or having professional photos done.
The two in one contour and highlighter palette comes in a durable compact case with a mirror inside.The 01 natural sculpt color set has powders that are a light and shimmery ivory and a dark taupe with a matte finish. I know this is for highlighting, but I have been using this as eyeshadow. I love the taupe as a base shadow with a highlight of the shimmery ivory. The compact is generously sized so you receive a lot of product, however you decide to use this. There is not an applicator included, which is the only drawback to this set. The product is vegan, gmo free, gluten free and cruelty free.
This palette is a simple option for everyday makeup. The blush and highlighter combo is convenient, and the shades are pretty and easy to wear without looking too heavy. It’s not super intense right away, but you can build it up to get the look you want. That actually makes it hard to overdo, which I like.
The highlighter gives a soft glow rather than anything super blinding, and the blush looks natural on the skin. It’s more of a subtle, everyday finish.
That said, the pigmentation isn’t the strongest, so you do have to build it up a bit. It also doesn’t last all day without some fading. I also think it’s shady that the seller is different than the brand that shows up. Novo is a known budget Chinese brand.
Overall, I think it’s a decent affordable palette, just don’t expect super high pigmentation or long wear.
This review is for the Chinese-made MOOMARTO NOVO 2-in-1 contour & highlighter palette. It comes with 1 taupe matte powder and 1 light beige shimmer highlighter palette. The palette is made of a nice quality beige plastic compact that snaps shut. There is a low-quality mirror under the top cover. I don't like that it doesn't come with an applicator so you will need to use your own. The powder and shimmer go on light and smoothly. I find it to be very blendable allowing you to be able to build by applying layers to achieve the desired shade. I think this is value priced costing just under $10 at the time of writing this review.
I use this simple 2 colour palette for shadows and highlights on my cheeks, forehead, and under my chin. It’s vegan, cruelty-free, and non-GMO, which are important to me. The case and powders are both made from high quality materials and the manufacturing is thoughtful as well. The case seals tightly and I have no worries about spills when travelling.
The powders have a good pigment ratio that allows for layering, rather than heavy streaks of colour. I like that the highlights shimmer slightly, appearing sunkissed rather than like I’m going to a rave. With proper application, these powders go from broad daylight to on camera to candlelit dinner with ease. I haven’t found that it smears or rubs off onto clothing easily, and it plays nicely with just a moisturizer for a base.
I got this 2-in1 blush and highlighter palette in Berry Flush to try and I really like it! The rose colour blush is just right for my fair skin and blends beautifully. The highlighter has just a blush of pink and a LOT of shimmer. I've never really used highlighter in the past, so I did have to watch some Youtube tutorials to figure out where to put it but it did provide a shimmery, ethereal glow to my face.
The case itself is very sturdy and well made and has a luxury feel, if not look. The mirror inside is great for on the go touch-ups. I did remove a star as the back of the case is covered in a language I can't read, and I like to know what is in my makeup so this was a bit of an issue for me. All in all I really liked this 2-in-1 blush and highlighter palette and would highly recommend.
