This pull-up bar has been a really solid addition to our home gym setup. It feels sturdy and secure once mounted, and it handles workouts well without feeling wobbly or unstable. I ordered this because it was the cheapest option that looked decent. The hardware that came with it is designed for concrete so be aware of that. I have a 4×6 beam used for an indoor swing set we have setup and decided to use that. Unfortunately, the mounting plate was too big for a 4×6, so I had to modify it by drilling new holes in the mounting plate and using lag screws to mount it to the beam. This worked and it feels sturdy.
Overall, it's decent for the price. I'm slightly concerned about the welds holding up, but time will tell!

Seems to do exactly what it is supposed to do. I see no issues at all. It seems a little lightweight but it holds my 160 pounds so far without any trouble at all. Just make sure you know how to anchor it solidly in your wall so that it will never pull out while you are using it. The price was good and it comes with three or four distinct places where you can hold it to work out different muscles. I'm not sure the competition does that..

We had this pull up bar 8 days before the handle broke off on it. We maybe used thiis half a dozen times. The bars are spot welded on and fail super easily. I would not buy this again.

Bar is sturdy and easy to put together. Instructions on how to mount to a wall and what components of the screws to use or not use is confusing though, hence the loss of a star.
