If I ignore the very sad knee pad, I would have given this a full 5-stars. But seriously, why gratuitously include something that is a complete mismatch with the main product? It may seem like a good selling point, but from the perspective of the customer, the inclusion of a thin and cheap knee pad can bring down the overall perceived quality of the product. Provide a knee pad that’s a little better… or don’t include it at all (although for >$45, it would be better if you included one that was of slightly better quality).
Having voiced my complain, now the good part. This is a great ab roller! Very stable, sturdy, and well constructed. No assembly needed! Started using it straight out of the box.
It feels like a hefty downhill bike among ab rollers. I think the stability makes it much safer for beginners and veterans alike. Due to the formidable wheels, I’m able to do rolls on my shaggy rug, where I can try out more advance and risky moves like standing rollout (ok… I’ve not been successful at that yet and keep flopping onto the rug).
To be honest, I’ve never used an ab roller before. I kinda thought it was more hype than real… but having tried this, I’ve come to the conclusion that is a great upper body exercise. And this ab wheel works great and worth having around.
