As a beginner in acrylics, these were awesome. I haven’t tried many but I have tried some more expensive acrylics and these were so much better in my opinion. These were a great price. They are easy to work with, and sometimes you have to go over some areas and sometimes you don’t. They get the job done and with great quality.
I’m pretty stoked about this paint pen set. I am able to get SUPER precise lines with the brush tips, it’s crazy!! They aren’t as firm as I was expecting but it allows for really thin lines – requires a very steady hand. It was amazing to not have to switch between thin and thick paint pens.
I can def recommend this set. I didn’t have any issues with paint flow or splatter except for 3 (out of 240!) when I first swatched them.
The color selection and variety is pretty great. There’s only a few that seem redundant. I wish it came with a few neon colors and stronger yellows and oranges.
Oh – the swatch card and marker numbering…was not great. But honestly, with 240 colors, it is NOT easy to find the numbered marker.
For now I ended up painting the cap top as the swatch. I plan on sticking on tiny round stickers onto the cap which will have the swatch because the paint is chipping a bit from the slick plastic. For $4 I ordered 1,000 4 mm stickers which was the most economical option.
The swatches cover the number but since the caps ARE the swatches, I don’t need the number until I want to replace it and then I can just remove the paint from the cap.
These are fantastic quality markers. So satisfying and smooth. The colours are really vibrant and opaque. I want to leave 4 stars only for a couple of reasons that people might want to consider:
1. There are not many variations of browns – most are reddish hues or really pastel type browns and skin colours.
2. A few tips seemed a little worn, which isn’t a big deal as you do get spare tips with the set so could change them but wondered why some feel as though they’ve been used. I’m sure they haven’t and they’re still fine to use but compared to all the other tips, a little bit squishier.
3. A bit of damage to the box but nothing you can really notice and probably due to the couriers being careless rather than anything to do with the seller.
Overall would love to see some smaller sets of browns available to beef out the options, but fantastic quality paint markers.

Ich habe dieses sehr umfangreiche Set speziell für Mystery-Coloring-Bücher gekauft und inzwischen alle 240 Farben ausprobiert und auf Farbkarten erfasst. Insgesamt bin ich wirklich begeistert.
Die Farbe wird gleichmäßig und zuverlässig abgegeben. Ich trage sie meistens in zwei bis drei dünnen Schichten auf und lasse jede Schicht kurz trocknen. So entstehen bei mir gleichmäßige Flächen ohne störende Streifen. Auch nach mehreren Schichten wird die getrocknete Farbe nicht rissig, wie ich es bei manchen anderen Acrylmarkern erlebt habe. Die Farbe trocknet schnell und ist bei meinen Tests auch unter Acryl-Klarlack nicht verlaufen.
Die große Farbauswahl ist für Mystery-Coloring sehr praktisch, weil viele ähnliche Abstufungen vorhanden sind. Dadurch lässt sich meistens ein passender Farbton finden. Etwas mehr Braun-, Bordeaux- und Grautöne hätte ich mir allerdings gewünscht. In diesen Farbbereichen ist die Auswahl im Verhältnis zum gesamten Set eher klein.
Schwarz und Weiß waren bei mir relativ schnell leer, was bei diesen besonders häufig verwendeten Farben allerdings nicht ungewöhnlich ist. Bei den übrigen Markern ist der Farbvorrat sehr ordentlich. Viele Farben, die ich regelmäßig und teilweise in zwei bis drei Schichten verwendet habe, sind noch immer fast voll.
Der einzige größere Kritikpunkt ist für mich die Verpackung. In der Originalbox sind die Marker nur gruppenweise in größeren Fächern untergebracht und sitzen darin nicht besonders fest. Einzelne Steckplätze für jeden Marker oder zumindest eine stabilere Fixierung wären deutlich übersichtlicher und praktischer.
Trotz dieser kleinen Schwächen ist das Set insgesamt so gut, dass ich keine niedrigere Bewertung als fünf Sterne geben kann. Die Marker lassen sich sehr angenehm verwenden, trocknen schnell, ergeben gleichmäßige Flächen und bieten eine außergewöhnlich große Farbpalette. Für regelmäßiges Mystery-Coloring sind sie für mich eine klare Empfehlung.
