    This clock is much bigger in person than the picture appears. IT is fancy and classy and the numbers are large which is great for an elderly person with bad eyesight. For what I needed it is perfect. I love it and highly recommend this clock to anyone looking for an elegant clock to be proud of. It has a feminine look so I would call it a ladies clock. My only regret is I wish I would have bought this a LOT SOONER !!!

    I got the gold color clock. It looks like antique gold. And the clock is metal NOT PLASTIC. It is hollow on the back and has a spot for the battery. I put it on my bookshelf in front of the books so the back is not visable. It is a very nice looking clock at a very reasonable price.

    I'm in love with this clock! It is completely silent, well made, and looks gorgeous. It doesn't have a back, if that is a concern for some. I will be buying the horizontal one for my room as well.
