Media stinks on ice. Would not recommend.

Revamping my review after putting more time into this.

On the bright side, the bike itself is nice and solid with good resistance. On the bad side, the media software is trash. I initially regretted this purchase as I was originally planning on using the bike's screen for media. I've listed the many issues with the software below. Anyway, if you can afford this bike, it's highly likely you have a spare tablet to use with it, and it's this two screen set up that shines. The built-in screen is fine for managing the bike's functions and nothing more. Any iPad or android you have will fit nicely into the holder and run media like a champ while you bike. I'd give this a 5 star rating, but I do find the software for the media so offensive I'm only giving it 4 stars.

Media issues with the built-in screen:

The media software requires me pair my Bluetooth headphones every session and will not remember them. There is also a very annoying pop up navigation bar on the display which you cannot make disappear. You can shrink it somewhat but it is always there without even a thoughtful translucent effect. It's opaque and annoying as hell. Furthermore, if you switch screens from "media" to the "training screen" for bike functionality, and then back to "media" as one might be expected to do during normal use, it will not remember your place in the movie you might have been streaming at the time. In fact, it won't even take you back to the movie you might have left–you are forced back to streaming app's root menu. Furthermore, DRM blocks streaming from your phone from many apps and is no savior.

Absolute garbage programming. Bike itself is solid though and supplying a tablet really ups the game with the two screen setup.

    Thoughts after a week —

    Pros:
No "slipping" feeling while pedaling. Good resistance options. Sturdy. Good adjustment options with seat and pedal, able to center foot on pedal. Easy assembly. Wireless charging works well. Workout options with no subscription fee. Heavy, but easy enough to move around with the handle in back. Heart rate handles are angled in a comfortable position.

    Cons:
Fan is very underwhelming. Screen lags when selecting media options. Speakers are pretty bad. Controls cannot be hidden when watching media and covers part of the screen. Resistance controlled only through screen- no physical buttons, and no way to skip quickly to a higher/lower resistance in manual mode.

This is what I expected. I bought this to have a quality bike with features that weren't locked behind a subscription service.

You can pair Bluetooth headphones to the bike to avoid using the bad speakers, or set up a phone/tablet to get around screen lag.

At first, I thought none of the media options worked, but I had to update them through the bikes menu and it was very quick/easy.
