I have used these a few different ways. I’m not using them for events, but for decoration. I tried one as a flower vase. My house has a large rose bed full of tons of different roses. I can usually go outside any day that’s not during winter and cut a rose. I’m always needing a vase. They aren’t large. The biggest one is less than 7”. My long stems were a bit overwhelming for even the largest vase, however, the largest can hold a medium stemmed rose. They look great on my mantel, too. I placed two of each size on my mantel. I can fill them with pearls or anything festive to change them for the season. I love that they come in a large set with three different sizes. The vases feel thick and durable. I wouldn’t say they won’t break, but I feel like they could table a short tumble and be okay. The rounded rim gives them a sophisticated feel. They are just more stylized than a simple cylindrical shape. I don’t see why anyone would be unhappy if they need a large set of vases for an event or for decor. I’m giving them 5 stars.
